Story

We formed "Chance" in Los Angeles as a duo but soon after became a quartet adding Oscar Hidalgo on bass and Dick Cunico on drums.  We continued with that line up for 7 years with L.A. as our home base.  When we relocated to Wisconsin we were on our own again.  This album "So Much To Think About" was a product of those days and is an attempt to capture that beautiful clarity that comes from small numbers.                                                                                                           "So Much To Think About" download at CD Baby

Story

This is a tune I wrote in the closet of a small cottage Cheryl and I were renting after recently moving from L.A. to Wisconsin.  Valentine's Day was coming up and I had nothing.  I worked on it in the closet so she wouldn't hear and then broke it out on the day.  It must have worked, she still loves me. -Ed

Lyrics

I know why the Angels sing,

when my heart fills with music

I can feel the grasses growing,

and there are no fading flowers,

when my heart fills with music

Just when I'm crying, Just when I'm dying

I know there's a place for me,

when my heart fills with music

Spread my love to all I see,

when my heart fills with music

Wrap it's loving arms around me,

and there are no fading hours ever precious,

when my heart fills with music

Just when I'm crying, Just when I'm dying - Cheryl Leah
